Pet Rescue
Posted On 07/07/2010 11:56:16 by Drago

Everyday there are animals that are in need of human intervention and ultimately rescue. These situations include but are not limited to puppy mills, pit bull fighting operations, natural and man made disasters. Resources for mass rescues are limited throughout the country. Haven is here to change that. We are an organization that is building a mobile transportation unit that will travel the country and work with rescue organizations like the HSUS, PAWS and the ASPCA. The need for a large scale mobile transportation unit is desperately needed, please join us in our campaign to win a 250k grant from Pepsi to make this a reality. Go to www.refresheverything.com/havenpetrescue to lend your support and give us you vote. You can also find me on facebook, (drago1) join my group Haven Disaster Services and give us your vote!

I am currently in the process of starting an animal rescue facility.  I have 10 acres of land already located in southern Mississippi.  I plan to not only rescue animals, but in the case of dogs or horses, I plan to train them if needed to be easier to place.  I have  written a couple of childrens books in the hope to fund such a project.  The books are about my german shepherd dog, Deja and his brother Max. I am currently seeking a publisher for the works.  If you read this, I am asking you only to join a Facebook group called Deja's Peeps.  The page is for information on the progress of the books and the rescue facility. If you know anyone else who might be interested in joining, please let them know.  The rescue facility is a dream of mine that I will see completed.  I have made arrangements that this 10 acres will never be used for anything else but for helping animals. EVER.  Thanks for your time and hopefully one day there will be no need for these types of facilities, every animal will have a home.
